Statement of Faith

  STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Rom. 1:7; Heb. 1:8; Acts 5:3, 4)

We believe in the infallible authority of the Bible and its sufficiency as our only rule of faith and practice. (II Tim. 3:16)

We believe in the right of private interpretation and the competency of the individual soul in direct approach to the one true and
living God. (Acts 17:11; II Tim. 2:15)

We believe in the universal depravity of all men and the gift of salvation from the state of guilt and condemnation, through the
righteousness of Jesus Christ, by grace through faith. (Rom. 3:12-28; Eph. 2:8,9)

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, his atonement for man's sin, his bodily resurrection, his ascension and
his present ministry of intercession, his second coming when he will make a personal return. (John 1:1; Luke 22:70; Matt. 1:18;
Isa. 7:14; Lev. 4:20; Rom. 5:11; Luke 24:39; Heb. 4:14-16; Acts 1:11; I Thess. 4:16,17)

We believe in the eternal blessedness for the saved but eternal punishment for the lost, in accordance with the Scriptures.
(II Thess. 1:8, 9; John 10:28)

We believe in baptism by immersion and a regenerate church membership. (Acts 2:41; Rom. 6:4)

We believe in observance of the Lord's Supper by those professing a personal faith in Jesus Christ. (I Cor. 11:23-29)

We believe in complete dependence upon the person of the Holy Spirit for teaching, guidance, witnessing and sanctification.
(John 16:7-15)

We believe in separation from all sinful practices and associations which are not honorable to the Lord. (I John 2:15-17;
Rom. 12:1, 2; I Peter 2:21)

We believe in spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 17:21; I Cor. 12:12)

We believe in a world wide program of missionary fervor and evangelism in obedience to the final command of Jesus.
(Matt. 28:19, 20)
